University of Alberta Botanic Garden Herbarium

The Herbarium of Cultivated Plants is a systematically arranged reference collection of dried plants from the University of Alberta Botanic Garden, an exceptional regional resource and repository for living plants. Based on the living collection, the herbarium holds an extensive range of preserved local and internationally-collected specimens of ecological, horticultural, botanical, medicinal and historical importance. It is a valuable resource for plant information and identification, and is used by students, researchers and the public.
